Rara Zikry : my prayer is with you~

Salam.
It's Sunday and I'm doing nothing but relaxing at the comfort of my home sweet home. Then, while watching TV, I came across a slot in Nona TV3 this afternoon which airs a coverage about a young, beautiful lady whose life is flipped 360 degree after a truly unexpected tragedy last year. Who is she? Here is a little info about her :

Name : Zarith Nadhira Binti Mohamad Zikri (also known as Rara Zikry)
DOB : 4 October 1988 (she just turned 23 this month)
An interior design student at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology
Facebook : Rara Zikry

So what happened to her? On 19th March 2010, Rara and her friends went cycling somewhere near the Shah Alam court. Out of sudden, she was seen having difficulty to breathe. Her friends thought she was attacked by her asthma, as they all know that she did has an asthma. She then told her friends to bring her to the hospital. While on the way there (in the car), Rara was still able to talk to her friends but suddenly she was silent and foams started coming out of her mouth. When they arrived at the hospital, the doctor told Rara's friends that she was in the state of coma. It was shocking! Br jak td dia ketawa2 dgn her friends then suddenly jatuh koma. MasyaAllah, hebatnya kuasa Allah.

After a few months, she was conscious but sadly, she was not the same Rara anymore. She was diagnosed with an illness called Hypoxic Encephalophaty or a condition named Brain Disorder due to Less of Oxygen. It is a condition in which brain tissue is deprived of oxygen and there is global loss of function. The longer brain cells lack oxygen, the more damage occurs. Rara was cut off from any oxygen for about 7 minutes, right after she fainted causing her to be under state of coma.

Frankly speaking, I feel very touched after seeing her on TV and reading her stories in the internet. Berat betul dugaan yg dia terima kn? Tp in a way, I perceive her story as a valuable lesson to be learned from. Her story reminds me that everything that we are and we have in life are just a "loan" from God. Semuanya milik Allah. So we have to learn to be grateful and accept everything given to us. Tiada yg kekal dan pasti, hanya Allah maha mengetahui.

To dear Rara and family, be strong. May you get well soon. Never gives up on Allah because only Allah knows what's best for us.

To us, fellow human being, remember, this can happen to anyone so there is no need to judge. May Allah reward Rara immensely for the suffering that she is going through right now. Amin.

  1. Yes it is true what you said. What we are having now is only temporary and it never OURS. That is why when i say that i look horrendous today, im mocking at how beautiful GOD's creation is. And ill quickly say ooops. . Thinking that this is all HIS, and say im greatful for who i am. . .
